Ocean Grove, New Jersey

Founded in 1869 by a Camp Meeting Association, Ocean Grove provides more than a simple summer retreat. There are numerous programs, from daily youth programming and worship services to weekly concerts and shows. Nationally recognized speakers and performers visit every summer.

While Ocean Grove boasts the largest concentration of Victorian architecture in the state, there also remains an intriguing tent community reminiscent of the original camp meeting days. The remarkable architecture of the town has been lovingly maintained from the Great Auditorium to the Tabernacle and Thornley Chapel. These venues offer enchanting locations for numerous programs and events. Or, if you’d prefer, simply sit in one of our many parks and admire their charm.

Nearly a full mile of non-commercial boardwalk and beautiful beach provides a wonderful location for evening strolls and all day sun.

Ocean Grove’s tree lined Main Avenue offers over a dozen choices for gift or antique shopping. Our restaurants boast varied menus; with the possibility of pleasing each of you.
